General provisions
1.1. All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Judges of Ukraine” (hereinafter the Association) is an all-Ukrainian public professional (corporate) organization. Abbreviated name — Association of Judges of Ukraine, ACU.
1.2. The association is non-partisan and is not an organization of a political or trade union nature.
1.3. The association extends its activities to the entire territory of Ukraine. The Association includes branches.
1.4. The Association carries out its activities on the basis of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine “On Public Associations”, other laws of Ukraine and this Charter.
1.5. The Association is a legal entity from the moment of state registration in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, has its own bank accounts, seals, stamps and forms with its name, symbols, samples of which are approved by the Board of Directors of the Association. Symbolism is registered in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation.
1.6. The Association may join international public (non-governmental) organizations as a collective member, conclude relevant agreements that do not contradict the law, and participate in the work of international and other non-governmental organizations if their activities do not contradict the current legislation and the statutory tasks of the Association.
1.7. The State and its bodies are not responsible for the obligations of the Association, just as the Association is not liable for the obligations of the State and its bodies.
1.8. The association has the right to represent the interests of its members.
