The Association of Judges of Ukraine was established on March 27, 2002 as a professional organization uniting judges of all jurisdictions of the courts of Ukraine, with the aim of ensuring high professional standards of the judiciary, strengthening public confidence in the judiciary and upholding the independence of judges as a key condition for fair justice.
The Association is part of the International Association of Judges, which was founded in 1953 in Salzburg (Austria) and unites national associations of judges from 92 countries of the world.
We aim to be a platform for dialogue, collaboration and development of a judicial community that meets the highest standards of professional ethics and justice.

Independence of judges through the eyes of the judges themselves. Analysis of ENCJ Survey 2025 results

For the first time, Ukraine participated in a large-scale judicial independence study organized by the European Network of Justice Councils (ENCJ). More than 19,000 judges in 30 countries were interviewed, including about 500 judges from Ukraine.
