Members of the Association of Judges of Ukraine took part in the 62nd Congress of the International Association of Judges

On September 15-19, 2019, the 62nd International Congress of the Association of Judges of the World was held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).

The congress was attended by the Ukrainian delegation (members of the Association of Courts of Ukraine), including the President of the Association of Judges of Ukraine Olena Ivanovna Yevtushenko, judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal Rosik Tetiana Volodymyrivna, judges of the Pechersk District Court of Moscow. Kyiv Smyk Svitlana Ivanovna, Litvinova Irina Valerievna and Ilieva Tetiana Hryhorivna, judges of the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv Kyiv Ulyanovska Oksana Vasilyevna, judges of the Holosiivskyi district court Kyiv First Lady Elena Sergeevna and Myroshnichenko Oksana Volodymyrivna.

The 62nd Congress of the International Association of Judges (IAJ) opened on September 15 in Nur-Sultan with the participation of judges and senior judicial officials from more than 100 countries.

The program of the 62nd International Congress of the Association of Judges of the World included events, meetings and seminars on topics related to justice and the challenges facing judicial institutions around the world in the field of civil, criminal and commercial human rights. At this congress, as at previous ones, the issues of protection of judges and problematic issues that arise in some countries of Europe and the world regarding urgent issues of the administration of justice and the independence of the judiciary were discussed.
