International Seminar on:
“Interaction of the judge and mediator in cases of the return of the child in the application of the Convention on Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Experience of Germany and Ukraine”

May 23, 2019 in the city. Kyiv hosted the International Seminar on “Interaction of Judge and Mediator in Cases of Return of the Child in the Application of the Convention on Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Experience of Germany and Ukraine.” The organizers were the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation IRZ.
President of the Association of Judges of Ukraine Yevtushenko Elena Ivanovna took part in the seminar.

The opening remarks were: Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Ivanna Smachylo; Head of the Consular and Legal Department of the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine Mr. Jens Klaus-Masse and Senior Project Manager of the German Fund for International Legal Cooperation in Ukraine Wolfram Hertig.

The reports were made by: the judge of the District Court in the city. The Hague, Ms. Martina Erb-Kluenemann, Coordinator of Practice of the 1980 Convention, Ms. Dagmar Legler, Referee of the R A Division 1, Mr. Simon Trost and others.
