December 8, 2017 in the Court of Appeal of the city. The next congress of the Association of Judges of Ukraine was held in Kyiv with the participation of 55 delegates of the congress.
Yevtushenko O.I. addressed the delegates of the congress with a welcoming speech and read the greetings addressed to the Association of Judges of Ukraine from the National School of Judges of Ukraine, the President of the Association of Judges of Azerbaijan, the International People's Deputy of Ukraine Karpuntsov V.V., the German Foundation cooperation (IRZ) and others.
The report on the work of the Association of Judges of Ukraine for 2017 was presented by: President of the Association Yevtushenko O.I. (text of the report is provided) and Vice President of the Association of Judges of Ukraine Prysyazhniuk O.B.
The report on the financial activities of the ASSU for the reporting period was presented by the member of the audit commission Borisova O.V.


The work of the Association of Judges of Ukraine for 2017, by the delegates of the congress, was recognized as satisfactory.

By secret ballot, the delegates of the Congress elected Vice-Presidents of the Association: Strizheus Anatoly Nikolaevich and Priyazhnyuk Oleg Bogdanovich, judges of the Kyiv City Court of Appeal and members of the Association Board: Ageev Oleksandr Volodymyrovych, Judge of the Appellate Court Court of Donetsk Region, Golovachev Yaroslav Vyacheslavovich, Chairman of the Kyiv City Court of Appeal, Kafidov Olen Vasilyevna, Judge of the High Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases, Karaban Volodymyr Mykolaiovych, Judge Pecherich District Court of Kyiv, Mazur Lydia Mikhailovna, Judge of the High Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases and Martynyshyn Maria Alekseevna, Judge of the Frankivsk District Court of Lviv. Elected by the members of the Audit Commission of the Association: Borisova Elena Vasylivna, Judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, Korotun Elena Nikolaevna, Judge of the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal, Smyk Svitlana Ivanovna, Judge of the Pechersky District Court of the City Kiev.

The delegates of the congress discussed the issue of resuming the work of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Judges of ACU members, according to the Statute of the Association of Judges of Ukraine (paragraph 5.47). The delegates of the congress unanimously decided to instruct the President of the Association and the Board of Directors to resume the work of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Judges of the members of the ACU and to organize its work by appointing one of the members of the ACU Board as the Chairman of the Committee.
President of the ASU Yevtushenko O.I., proposed to the delegates of the congress a draft of the Association's work plan for 2018. After discussing the proposed ASU Work Plan for 2018 and making changes and additions, the delegates of the congress decided to approve the ACU Work Plan for 2018.

After discussing the critical remarks of the delegates of the Congress regarding the work of the Association in the reporting period, the delegates of the congress unanimously decided — for the President and the Board of Directors of the Association of Judges of Ukraine to establish cooperation with other Associations of Judges of our country and to intensify work with the media, to improve the operation of the Association's Website and create the official page of the Association of Judges of Ukraine on Facebook.
