In his report, the President of the Association of Judges of Ukraine O.I. Yevtushenko reported on the work carried out by the association, in particular, on the participation of the judges of the association in international congresses in 2014 and 2015, the appeal with relevant letters to the international association on the situation in Ukraine and the calls of the public and authorities of Ukraine to the judicial guide the authorities and on the adopted resolutions on these appeals in relation to Ukraine.

In Odessa on September 18-19, 2015, a seminar was held on the topic: “Novels of the Criminal Procedural Law of Ukraine, Implementation of European Standards and Experience of the Judicial Systems of the World in the Activities of Investigative Judges”. The event was held within the framework of the project of the NGO “Association of Judges of Ukraine” and USAID “Fair Justice” “Development and implementation of national standards of independence of judges of Ukraine based on international and European standards and experience of judicial systems of the world”.

Within the framework of the project of the NGO “Association of Judges of Ukraine” and the USAID “Fair Justice” project “Development and implementation of national standards of independence of judges of Ukraine based on international and European standards and experience of the judicial systems of the world” on June 30, 2015, in the premises of the Supreme Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal cases held a “Round Table” meeting on the topic: “The role of the judicial branch in the legislative process (amendments to the current laws of the Code of Civil Procedure and the CPC)”.

At a meeting in Gdansk on May 15, 2015, the European Association of Judges discussed the Law of Ukraine “On the Purging of Power” (“Law on Lustration”), as well as its application to judges.
